“Time in the World” released in 2014 was the break of a 3 year music production hiatus for Michael following some major life events including getting married, buying a home, changing jobs, and having a child. This album is deeply personal, containing several field samples, most notably some from a fetal Doppler monitoring his then unborn son’s heartbeat. These samples were warped and chopped to create new and interesting rhythms and sounds that give an overall “warm & fuzzy” feeling to the album
